Hello June

What’s Up June?

How Ya been?

We made it through May and have officially reached the month of June. Let’s hope it brings sunshine and warm summer days.

Over at Mill River Brewing we have some exciting news for all of you!

For starters, if you didn’t know, our Spring into Summer is PURPLE.

Yes, a Purple Beer. Don’t believe me?

Look for yourself… ——————————>

For those of you who follow the Relay For Life, you may have heard there’s a campaign to Paint the Town Purple. This idea comes from the American Cancer society to raise additional awareness to their cause.

Last year, we served Spring into Summer but it lacked the color. So starting this year, we used blackberry puree to make this gorgeous color.

In the past we have hosted events such as Hops for Hope to benefit the American Cancer Society. Being able to support their cause again in this way was a no brainer. When there is a way for us to help and show support, we will!

Don’t forget the Relay for Life of Franklin County, VT is June 22nd, at Collins Perley Sport Complex.

Up next we have BIG news!

Attention all Local Artists!

We have paired up with the Artist Guild in Saint Albans. Together we are hoping to support local artists by giving them a platform to showcase their work on our cans! To learn more about this opportunity click here.

We are passionate about where we come from and the community that surrounds us. With this partnership we are excited to see the talent and skill local artists possess.

Don’t forget to follow our events page on the website or our facebook page!
We have so many exciting things planned all summer long.

This weekend in particular we have music both Saturday & Sunday!

Saturday we kick off at 7: with Uncle Jimmy performing! These guys love to entertain and are sure to make you move your feet!

Then, on Sunday we have rescheduled the Nobby Reed Band! Unfortunately last weekend we were rained out and needed to cancel. But as promised, we made sure to book him again! So Sunday, from 2PM to 5PM we will have music in the Biergarten that you won’t want to miss!

Special treat, since we offer a mimosa flight and build your own Bloody Mary on Sundays!

Towards the end of the month we will be hitting the road!

June 22nd and 23rd we will be at the Vermont Renaissance Faire!

Keep your eyes opened for us, we’ll have the bright orange tent and will be dressed for the occasion!

As a personal fan of Game of Thrones, you can imagine how excited I am to get into character and pour “ale” for all the participants!

The following weekend we’re headed back to Stowe for the Stowe Brewfest!

Being able to attend these events are incredibly rewarding. It’s such a fun way to connect to beer lovers. Make sure to stop by and say hi. We love answering questions and getting to opportunity to talk beer!

Final Announcement…

If you didn’t see the post already, we are making new merchandise! We’ve got new stickers and are working on some new shirt designs and more coming soon!

Currently, new at the smokehouse we are selling “Mill Run for Beer” shirts from the Brewcraft race! If you haven’t gotten one yet I would soon, we’re running out fast!

As always, thanks for keeping up with the happenings at MRB! Stay tuned for more posts on other events, giveaways and more on our facebook page and Instagram!
