Owners' Chuck, David and David’s wife, Joyce (Ferland) Fitzgerald aim to provide the highest quality product and service in a family friendly atmosphere. Our smokehouse prepares and serves locally raised meats, produce, and our menu incorporates Fitzgerald family maple products along with Ferland family recipes. Our baked goods are made in house and menu items are prepared to order creating an experience similar to a freshly home cooked meal. Having a hometown family feel is important to us because we are family-owned and operated. Our brewhouse also incorporates the same values as we use Vermont grown hops in many styles of our beer.
What started as an interest turned into a passion and later became Mill River Brewing BBQ & Smokehouse. A few times a month family and friends would gather to brew, cook food, and reminisce about memories made on the historic Mill River in Georgia, VT. They would congregate to sample batches of beer and enjoy home cooked food. The response to their passion of brewing and cooking along with their ever-welcoming sense of community was bigger than expected and it was felt a bigger platform was needed!
